Paul Mauriat，法國輕音樂大師，其創建的Le Grand Orchestre de Paul Mauriat與德國 James Last Orchestra、英國Mantovani並稱為三大輕音樂樂團。 Paul Mauriat出生於馬賽，4歲開始學習鋼琴，10歲進入馬賽音樂學院學習。二戰期間開始登台指揮。1965年創辦樂團，1968年以一曲愛是憂鬱一舉聞 名世界。
